Matchy Matchy Encouragement Hack Day 2024

Ground Fee per Horse: $10

Insurance:
Non Murray Adult Rider Club Members or EWA Members must pay a $10 Day Membership Insurance Fee and sign/agree to the waiver.

No Entries on the day

Horses:
Plaiting is optional.

HORSES ARE PERMITTED IN THE LEAD LINE/FIRST RIDDEN RING.

A Horse or Pony that holds a Current Official Card for Show Horse are not eligible to compete. However, riders who hold a current membership with EWA or SHC arepermitted to compete on a horse that does not hold an Official Card.

Strictly NO Double Bridles

Riders:
All riders must wear a current approved safety helmet and riding boots at all times when mounted on their horse/pony.
Hacking Jackets will be optional & short sleeves are permitted. Pony Club uniforms are allowed.

All Leading Rein handlers must be over 16yrs old, wear closed in footwear & ponies must be led by a single lead attached at the back of a cavesson nose band. No halters or leads with chains attached are to be used.

Rider’s age will be as at the day of the event, proof of age may be requested.

Rider’s over 18 years are permitted to ride ponies.

Matchy-Matchy Information:
Riders are permitted to ride in there matchy-matchy outfits all day, including boots, ear bonnets, coloured blankets, etc.

Short sleeves and coloured jodhpurs are permitted, hacking jackets optional.

Riders do not have to wear matchy-matchy, traditional hacking attire is completely acceptable and plaiting is optional.

All Leading Rein handlers must wear closed in footwear & handlers can wear clothes/colours to match the rider

This show is still an encouragement hack show and we have incorporated the matchy-matchy for some fun, riders DO NOT have to wear matchy-matchy to compete.

Please NO SINGLETS! Please wear T-shirts or long sleeved shirts if you are not wearing a hacking jacket.

There is a full ring dedicated purely to OTT.

There are separate classes for TB & STB.

There is a walk and trot option and a walk, trot and canter option. You must pick one, you can't compete in both.

ALL HORSES WHO ENTER MUST HOLD AN OTT PASSPORT!

Toilets/Parking:
Toilets and parking will be located outside the club rooms. Please do not park in unauthorised areas.

Camping:
Camping is available $10 per family - toilets and yards can be utilised by those camping.

Manure/Hay:
Please ensure manure and hay is taken with you or put into the compost areas. This will be indicated on a map that will be sent with the draw.

Rubbish:
Please ensure rubbish is put into the appropriate bins and NOT put into the compost areas.

Safety Regulations:
We follow the EA guidelines. It is the rider’s responsibility to wear the approved safety standard helmet.

Refunds:
Refunds will not be given without a vet certificate.

Ambulance and Vet:
There will not be an ambulance or vet present on the day however, there will be first aiders. Should you have a fall you must present to a first aid person immediately.
If deemed necessary an ambulance may be called on your behalf, this will be at your expense. By entering this event you agree to these conditions.

Other:
The organisers/committee of Murray Adult Riders reserve the right to cancel, alter or combine any events they seem necessary on the day.

Murray Adult Riders reserves the right to interpret all rules and make a decision where any dispute arises.

Murray Adult Riders and its committee, judges and officials DO NOT accept liability for any accident, loss, damage, illness or injury to horses, owners, riders, spectators or any other person or property whatsoever.
